Our Mission
To identify, train and develop gifted singers and to present quality opera and musical theatre to the public.
Support Seagle Music Colony
Your support for Seagle Music Colony's mission can come in so many ways. You can become a member of Seagle Music Colony by making a financial contribution, advertise in our annual program book, volunteer as part of the Seagle Music Colony Guild, purchase items from the Seagle Music Colony store, attend the Patrice Munsel Gala, become involved in our Renaissance Campaign, or even help support us via grants from your company or family foundation. Thanks in advance for support of our mission.
Membership & Sponsorship Contributions
Your membership contributions to Seagle Music Colony support the 32 young artists that study and perform here. They keep our doors open and our lights on. They fund performances on stage at the Colony, in the Boathouse Theater in Schroon Lake as well as performances in Bolton Landing, Chestertown, Glens Falls, Lake Placid, North Creek and Ticonderoga. They support the brilliant professional staff who provide piano accompaniment, give vocal lessons, create stage sets and costumes, handle lighting and sound, and manage the program. Ticket sales cover only one third of our expenses; your memberships and gifts are crucial in supporting our goal of bringing music to the Adirondacks. Seagle Music Colony is a 501(c)(3) organization. Gifts and memberships are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Patrice Munsel Gala
Our largest annual fundraising event, the Patrice Munsel Gala is not to be missed. Have fun at a memorable evening with fabulous food, entertainment by the Colony singers, dancing and an exciting silent auction. You'll support Seagle Music Colony and have a night to remember.
Seagle Music Colony Legacy Society
Join those who care about Seagle Music Colony and want to contribute to its future. The Seagle Music Colony Legacy Society receives planned gifts to endow the Colony for its many years to come. To join us in preserving this treasure, consider placing a charitable inclusion in your will or consider establishing a planned giving vehicle such as a charitable remainder trust, charitable lead trust, retained life estate, gift of annuity or life insurance policy. For your planned giving pledge, you will be acknowledged as a member of the Seagle Music Colony Legacy Society. You will receive advanced notice of special events and invitations to receptions with guest artists and conductors. And you'll receive the grateful thanks of the young artists who study and perform here and the community that the Colony serves. For more information about these planned gifts, please contact board member Julia Pitkin-Shantz at 703-505-7731.
For more information on any of the above giving opportunites, please contact Tony Kostecki at tony@seaglecolony.org or at 518.532.7875.
